“아희”는 100% '함창명주'로 만든, 경상북도 상주시 합창읍의 지역공동 유아복 브랜드이다.
명주의 재료인 ‘누에’는 고도의 청결이 갖춰진 환경에서만 자라는 특성이 있고, 따라서 ‘명주’는 프리미엄 유아복 소재에 적합하다. 특히 ‘함창명주’는 오늘날까지도 물에 불린 실을 짜는 전통적인 방식을 고수해 왔다. 아이의 건강과 행복을 기원하는 부모의 마음처럼 철저한 위생과 까다로운 절차를 거쳐 만들어지는 ‘함창명주’에는 은은하고 우직한 고전미가 한껏 깃들어 있다. 이에 액션서울은 '아이를 기쁘게 하다'라는 의미의 한자, 아이 '아'와 기쁠 '희'를 조합하여 “아희”로 브랜드명을 정하였다.
브랜드 로고에는 한국적 고전미와 순수미를 더하였고, 아기의 배냇저고리를 담는 포장으로는 고급스러운 백색의 접이식 박스를 개발하여 프리미엄 유아복의 느낌을 깨끗하고도 간결하게 전하였다. “Ahee” is a local co-brand of infant clothes made from ‘Hamchang Silk’ of Hamchang-eup, Sangju-si of Gyeongsangbuk-do province.
‘Silkworms,’ the primary producers of silk, are living in a highly pure and clean environment, which makes ‘silk’ a suitable fabric for premium baby clothes. Especially ‘Hamchang Silk’ still sticks to the traditional way of reeling silk from cocoons soaked in water. Like supporting the warm wishes of parents for the babies’ health and happiness, ‘Hamchang Silk’ product goes through a thorough hygienic and complicated procedure to lead to a delicate and simple classical beauty. Thus, action seoul has proposed the brand name “Ahee” meaning ‘Delight Baby,’ combining two Chinese characters, ‘A’ for a baby and ‘hee’ for a feeling of delight.
The BI delivers Korean traditional beauty and purity of a baby while the high-quality white folding paper box to contain baby swaddling clothes simply and concisely creates a touch of premium.
